Grandview Golf Course will try to retain the Challenge Cup they won in 2006. Challenge Cup XIX will be on September 15 as Rosebrook GC will try to win back the cup they have won 14 out of 18 years.

The first group will start at 10 AM. Half of the groups start at Grandview and half start at Rosebrook. Groups starting times at the other course will be 3 hours after their starting time at the first course. The groups will play 9 holes and eat lunch at their starting course before going to the second course. All groups will meet at Rosebrook at 5 PM for the dinner and prize presentations.

AFGHAN RAFFLE RAISES MONEY FOR THE SISTERHOOD

Mary McKeone was the winner of a beautiful pink afghan raffle. The afghan was made by Bob Schmitt and the afghan was donated by Bob & Barb Schmitt. Barb Schmitt reported that $160 was raised for the Sisterhood Wellness Center as a result of the raffle.
